Erasing the Mark of Tattoos

It is hard to find people who have no regrets in their childhood – the phrase “the folly of youth” was not imagined out of thin air. Some regret not doing some things more, others regret doing some things at all. And among those regrettable actions are having tattoos.

The regret does not have to be a deep-seated emotion hanging over the tattoo like love or belief. It may simply be that the tattoo has deformed due to muscle change or that the colors have become unappealing. Or it may simply be that you don’t like it anymore, and that is all the reason you need. And then you sign up for tattoo removal, and that is that.

Removing tattoos is now only a matter of time, and not anymore the pain and scarring it used to be. Older forms of tattoo removal included skin abrasion by salt, cutting the skin out, scarring and other more painful procedures. But now it is all about lasers, and while the procedure does take time, depending on how large the tattoo is, among other factors, the tattoo can be removed with finality.

And with that finality is the erasure of that folly of youth. No more embarrassment or regret, because you are back in pristine condition. You are free of that permanence, as if the tattoo were never there at all. It is going to be just another story from your past, of the things you do as a child.

And hopefully, you walk away without any more of that folly.
