There are different kinds of vitamins and supplements available in the market. Most are for general well-being. Some provide the daily dose of vitamins and minerals which people can’t get from their diet. A multi-vitamin is used almost in every household nowadays. All vitamins are not available through the diet so people like to supplement with a multi-vitamin.

But what people don’t know is that the absorption rate of multi-vitamins is only 30% while 70% is wasted through the urine. So it is better to go for other types of health supplements which have been proven to work up to their full potential.

Joint problem is a big problem nowadays. Many people in different households are suffering from pain in their joints. People think this is due to the lack of calcium which is exactly where they are wrong. The root cause is not the lack of calcium. And people don’t know that dairy food is the worst source of calcium. Why they ask? This is because there is a high protein content in dairy foods. Protein is known to leech calcium out of the bones. So it is better to eat plant foods to get the calcium required. For example Broccoli has a lot of calcium inside it.
